The fiebing's leathercolors, formerly instutitional dye, are water-based dyes to be used exclusively on unfinished natural vegetable tanned leathers.



These non-flammable and penetrating water-based stains are designed for schools, prisons or even hospitals. They are ideal for activities with children for example.


It is advisable to shake the bottle well before use, and to apply the stain using a sponge, a soft cloth or other applicators. If you want a deeper color, you have to wait 24 hours before applying the second coat.
