Required Materials

1. Santa Boot – 9 Steps

  1. Cut out the pattern
Print the boot pattern and cut it cleanly using a precision knife and ruler.
  2. Trace the pattern
Place the pattern on your two pieces of leather and trace the contours with a silver pen.
  3. Cut the leather
Cut both pieces using a cutter or sharp scissors.
  4. Punch the hole
On the rectangular piece (the top of the boot), punch a hole to insert the cord.
  5. Mark the alignment guides
Mark your assembly points to align both parts perfectly.
  6. Sand and glue
Lightly file the bonding area for better adhesion, then apply glue.
  7. Glue both pieces together
  8. Sew
Stitch the assembled pieces to strengthen and embellish the ornament.
  9. Add the cord
Thread the cord through the hole and hang your boot on the tree.

2. Two-Tone Christmas Tree – 9 Steps

  1. Cut out the pattern
Print your tree pattern and carefully cut the inside and outside using a precision knife.
  2. Trace the inside and outside onto the first piece of leather
This first leather (here, the black one) will be the front piece.
  3. Cut the leather
Cut the shape using a precision knife and ruler.
  4. Trace only the outer shape onto the second leather
This second leather corresponds to the metallic blue piece seen in the photo.
  5. Cut the second piece
Cut it out using the cutter as well.
  6. Punch the hole
To pass the cord and hang the ornament.
  7. Mark the inner zone on the second leather
This helps you apply the glue neatly.
  8. Apply glue and assemble
Carefully glue the two pieces together.
  9. Trim the excess and add the cord
If the bottom leather overhangs, trim the excess for a clean finish, then add the cord.

3. Stamped Christmas Tree – 6 Steps

  1. Trace the outer contour
Use the same pattern as the two-tone tree and trace its outline onto the leather.
  2. Cut the leather
Cut the shape using a precision knife and ruler.
  3. Punch the hole
Punch the hole for the hanging cord.
  4. Lightly moisten the leather
Use a damp sponge to prepare the leather for stamping.
  5. Stamp the leather to create a garland effect
We used stamping tools V708 and A98 to achieve this pattern.
  6. Add the cord
Insert the cord and hang your stamped leather tree.
